I think that the animation is too stiff and there is not a lot going on but the idea was a decent one.

Maybe he should had waited until next Christmas, perhaps he would have been place in a lower branch and not had broken when trying to escape..rest in pieces.

It looks like it would be a nice background for a larger animation. The art is really cute and the reflections are a good touch. It is not a bad animation but it would work better as a gif on the art section rather than a movie.
